It's something song writers should think about - maybe Aaron has a high singing voice but the average congregation certainly hasn't. Other song writers make the opposite mistake and pitch songs too low (e.g. Stuart Townend quite often does this). A comfortable range for most people is about Bb below middle C to the C an octave higher, with another tone above or below if the song has a big range. Please remember we don't all have bands who can transpose at sight! Apart from this the song is fine - maybe not a very intuitive feeling tune to learn but OK when you know it, and the words are biblical and full of praise. Pity it's not usable!
