Ignore the poster named Paul Oates, I think he must be either listening to a different CD or he needs a new CD player. The organ is definitely not overpowering, if anything it is too quiet in some songs! The singing is perfectly easy to hear. Overall the CD is rather quiet compared to other CDs but all you have to do is notch up the volume a bit.
If you like the sound of old-fashioned hymn music you will like this CD, some of the arrangements are very well done and all are good performances. However if you're looking for something that has typical modern renditions of Stu's songs, this is definitely NOT it - the overall feeling when listening to this CD is of having walked into a High Anglican church.
