Happy Day (CD/DVD)

On a Tuesday evening mid-September, the famous London venue Shepherds Bush Empire was filled to capacity with 2000 worshippers. Led by Tim Hughes and a hand-picked group of musicians and singers featuring Stu G (Delirious?) on guitar, members of The 29th Chapter and the Sacred dance team London was set alight. The live album was produced by Nathan Nockels (Passion Live Albums) and the DVD was directed by Andy Hutch (‘Delirious?’ and ‘Facedown’ by Matt Redman).

The songs are a mixture of well established and some excellent new songs. Tim was also joined onstage by Martin Smith (Delirious?) for Here I am to Worship. New songs include ‘Remember’, ‘Jesus Saves’, ‘We won’t stay silent’ and ‘Give us Your Courage’. Also included are ‘Beautiful One’, ‘Consuming Fire’, ‘Here I am to Worship’, ‘Be My Everything’ ‘Happy Day’, ‘Dance’ and ‘God of Justice’, as well as ‘When I Survey’.

The specially commissioned visuals for the event added another dynamic to the message of thesongs. It was an unforgettable evening, which also kicked off the UK Worship Central tour. The high quality release features all 12 songs on both the CD and the DVD, in a special digipack. The DVD also includes a talk from Mike Pilavachi and Tim talking about some of the songs on the project.

I just attended Worship Central 2009 conference in Orange County, USA and it was an amazing and anointed time of worship. This album is energetic, vibrant and touching. The band is very anointed and it makes me want to dance and worship God! The songwriting is deeper and helps us touch God.

Review I LOVE IT!! 07 December 2009 Rating: Posted by: Heather Clark Having been at the actual recording event I was mahoosively excited for the CD/DVD and couldn't wait for it to come out. I had to wait from sept till feb - and it felt like a long time as i was so excited about having that amazing evening recorded having the new songs and it has sat in my CD player for months on end. It has some fab songs on it from familiar songs with new arrangements to newly released songs like the gentle "remember" communion song to "give us your courage" with the woooah woah oh's SO DEFO GO AND BUY IT!!!
